Meet Your Attorney

Florida estate planning attorney Denyse D. Kruse is proud to represent individuals and families in Florida and assist with all of their estate planning and estate administration needs. As the owner and shareholder of Kruse Law, P.A., Denyse helps clients from all walks of life and works to find unique estate-related solutions that protect their families and themselves. She’s made a name for herself by being empathetic, compassionate, and available for her clients.

Growing up, Denyse Kruse always imagined herself as an attorney, having been a fan of legal shows like Matlock and Judge Judy but not really knowing what law entailed. Prior to entering law school, Denyse worked as a paralegal handling probate and trust administration cases and found that she really wanted her childhood dream to become a reality. She fell in love with the law, with the people surrounding her, and the entire process of helping people with their legal needs. Denyse knew she wanted to be in the thick of it, and earned her Juris Doctor in 2016 from Stetson University College of Law, graduating cum laude.

As a dedicated law student, she received the Carol R. Samuels Unsung Hero Leadership Award, the William Blews pro bono award, served as a student editor for the Journal of International Aging Law and Policy. This followed her earning her Bachelor of Arts from the University of South Dakota in 2003, where she majored in Spanish and English.

From her time as a paralegal, she knew that probate administration was the path she wanted to take. After earning her law degree, she started Kruse Law, P.A. to best help the St. Petersburg community and surrounding areas with all of their estate planning needs. Her past experience gave her a secret weapon, the ability to anticipate client needs and understand the laws to help them. Many people confided in her that they always felt that lawyers were cold and unavailable. Denyse uses this feedback to provide a more approachable and trustworthy atmosphere to her clients.

In addition to her law practice, Denyse Kruse demonstrates her commitment to this area of law and the community by serving as:

Denyse has also served as a senior editor for the Journal of International Aging and Policy and the president of the Elder Law Society.
